Organizing the gifts for the kids!

Chain of Hope Jamaica hosted a night of giving at Kingston’s Hot Spot the Fiction Lounge and Night Club.  Over 200 patrons turned up to hear some throwback tunes from Jamaica’s finest DJs Sanjay, Bambino and Jazzy T, and to give toys, clothing and canned food for the children and their families at the Bustamante Hospital for the Christmas season.  The generosity of the patrons was overwhelming!  Thank you to everyone that contributed!  Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the Chain of Hope Jamaica Family!

The Follow up Social Clinic

Another major feature of the mission was a follow-up social clinic, which was held on November 22nd, 2010.  Children treated by the Chain of Hope UK team over the years returned to hang out with the team and get a follow up check up to ensure they are still healthy. There were lots of treats for them (compliments of T. Geddes Grant, Seprod, National Bakery, Jus Foods and Grace Kennedy) and lots of space for them to run around!  We even had an appearance by Shaggy who came to hang out with the children!
